Subscription Update Obituary

     Nancy E. (Arnold) Finkle, 65, of Worcester, died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital after a lengthy illness with ALS. Born in Worcester on January 31, 1948, Nancy was the daughter of John and Margaret E. (McCormick) Arnold and lived in Auburn until moving to Worcester in 1970.
Nancy graduated from Auburn High School and later owned and operated Nancy’s Antiques in West Boylston for several years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and will be remembered for her gentle and kind nature.
She leaves her loving husband of 43 years, Barry M. Finkle; two daughters, Laurie B. Tessier and her husband Matthew of Holden and Melissa J. Finkle of Worcester; four grandchildren, Denayja Russell, Jillian, Bridgette and Melanie Tessier; also a sister in-law and a brother in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service honoring Nancy’s Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy’s name to the UMMF – MDA – ALS Center Fund, 333 South St., Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
