Subscription Update Obituary

     Muriel (Perks) Thibeault, 74, of Leicester Street, died Thursday, October 10, 2013, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roger L. Thibeault of North Oxford; two daughters, Lori A. Gifford and her husband William of Oxford, and Jennifer L. Nitti of North Oxford; four grandchildren, Crystal Gifford, Kara Gifford, Dominic Nitti, and Brooke Nitti; a great grandson, Jeremiah Rojas; a brother, Edward Perks of Millbury; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, Charles Perks Jr., Robert Perks, and Walter Perks; and two sisters, Margaret Nichols and Elizabeth Beaudette. She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Muriel (Edwards) Perks, and lived most of her life in North Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1957.

     Mrs. Thibeault worked at TJX in Worcester for 10 years. She enjoyed ceramics, bingo, going to the casino, fishing, and bowling. She liked spending winters in Florida with her husband, and most of all, loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

     A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, from 12 noon – 1:00 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association , P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
