  Mitchell G. “ Mitch “ Liberis, 61, passed away February 10, 2007 while surrounded in the love and care of his family from heart problems and a recent stroke .
 
 
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dottie “ (Waraszkiewicz)  Palladino – Liberis, his 2 daughters, Laura A. Liberis of Fenton MO and Dawn M. Swistak and her husband Peter of Warren. Two stepsons, Christopher and Matthew Palladino both of Quincy,  his granddaughter, Haileigh Swistak,  two sisters, Sandra A. Froment of Grafton and Donna M. Robert and her husband Kenneth of Millbury, one brother, John F. Liberis of Worcester, his brother in law Ziggy Waraszkiewicz of Sutton, 6 nephews, 1 niece and his dog “ Nikki .”

  He was born October 25, 1945 in Worcester the son of the late George F. and Wanda A. ( Koziol ) Liberis and lived most of his life in Grafton. Mitch graduated from Grafton High School in 1963, New England School of Accounting in Worcester in 1965 and East Coast Aero Tech in 1972. He served in The US Air Force during the Vietnam Era from 1965 to 1970 being honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He worked as Maintenance Manager for Walter Wheeler Realty and Golf Land in Millbury,  The Grafton School Department,  Westborough Healthcare and Whittier Rehabilitation all in maintenance. He had also been a clerk with The US Postal Service in Auburn. He played in The Grafton Men’s Softball League for many years and bowled in The Winter Wonders Bowling League.

  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday  February 16th at 10 am in his Parish Church of St. Mary, 17 Waterville St. (Rt 30 ) in North Grafton  All are invited to calling hours Thursday February 15th from 4 to 8 pm in  RONEY FUNERAL HOMES of GRAFTON, NORTH CHAPEL, 152 Worcester St.( Rt. 122 & 140 ) in North Grafton. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, New England Affiliate, 20 Speen St. Framingham MA 01701-4688.
