Subscription Update Obituary

     Mildred “ Marie “ (Hurley) Barr, recently celebrated her 90th birthday with family and friends. She passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 22,2019 at Southbridge Rehabilitation.

Marie enjoyed shopping, eating out, swimming and visiting Cape Cod. She worked for Sears and Roebuck for 30 years before retiring. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Mildred Hurley. She was predeceased by her husband, and only true love, Richard Barr and three brothers, Jack, James and Joseph Hurley.

She leaves her beloved cat, Della, who will miss her greatly; her sister Katherine Moriarty of Virginia Beach VA. and many nieces & nephews that enriched her life immensely.

The funeral service for Marie will be held on Wednesday, May 29,2019 at 11:00am in Pillsbury funeral home 3 West Brookfield Rd. Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
