Subscription Update Obituary

    Mildred E. (LaFreniere) Mellor, 96, died Sunday September 13th after an illness.

    Her husband Howard F. Mellor died in 1962. She is survived by two daughters Linda Langevin of Hudson, FL and Evelyn Giguere of Worcester; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

    Mrs. Mellor was born in Ware, MA daughter of Arsene and Eldora (Brouillette) LaFreniere and is predeceased by three sons Frederick, Edward and Benjamin Mellor and two daughters Patricia Parker and Sandra Lindsay.

    She is a graduate of Warren High School and worked at the former Worcester City Hospital in the central sterile department. She was a member of the Retired State, County, and Municipal Employees Association of Massachusetts.

    Mrs. Mellor's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at both Beaumont Nursing Center and Evercare Hospice Program for the exceptional care and service that was given to Mildred.

    Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton on Friday September 18th at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Evercare Hospice Program, 950 Winter Street, Suite 4830, Waltham, MA 02541. Funeral Arrangements will be handled by Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street Worcester.
