Mildred C. (Blouin) Minkle, 84, of West Boylston, died Sunday, January 16th in Knollwood Nursing Center. Her husband of 44 years, Daniel W. Minkle, Jr. died in 1992. She leaves a son, David D. Minkle and his wife Kathleen of Oxford; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Ryan Minkle of Oxford; a brother, Clifford Blouin of Holden; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Wildy and Lionel Blouin, and two sisters, Patricia Deane and Edwilda Poirier.

She was born in Rumford, Maine the daughter of Paul J. and Josephine (Dupuie) Blouin and graduated from Stevens High School. Mrs. Minkle was a member of St. Christopher’s Church, Worcester, its Retiree’s Club, and was a former member of its choir.

The funeral is Thursday, January 20th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a Mass at 1:00 P.M. in St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street, Worcester. Burial will be private. A visiting hour is from 11:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Knollwood Nursing Center, 87 Briarwood Circle, West Boylston, MA 01583.
