Subscription Update Obituary

    Michelle A. (Patricks) Marrier, 37, of Auburn, died Friday, December 11th in the UMass Memorial Hospital, with her loving family at her side, following a year long battle with pancreatic cancer.

    She leaves her beloved husband of 12 years, Michael R. Marrier; her cherished daughter, Morgan Rose; her father and mother, Richard G. and Charlene M. (Jacques) Patricks of Auburn; her two siblings, Scott D. Patricks and his wife Nicole of Holden and Tracey A. Laperle of Rochdale; her maternal grandmother, Beatrice Norrman of Melrose; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

    She was born in Worcester, and graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade School. Following her graduation, Michelle became of aware of her desire to work with our older population and began her 18 year career working with them at the Webster Manor in Webster, where she formed many lasting relationships with patients and their families. A wonderful friend to so many, Michelle was truly dedicated to being a great "soccer mom" for her daughter Morgan, spending countless hours with her at games and practices. She also enjoyed bowling, and was a 10 year member of the Zion Lutheran Bowling League in Worcester.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hour for Michelle on Tuesday, December 15th from 5-8 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 16th from the funeral home with a Mass celebrated at 10 AM in Saint Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the UMass Memorial Foundation/Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, 333 South Street Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
