Michael Paul Paradis, 77, of Auburn, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the comfort of his home, with his beloved family by his side.

He leaves his loving wife of 50 wonderful years, Paula A. (Wilson) Paradis; his devoted children, Michael Paradis, of Auburn, Seth Paradis and his wife Colleen, of Paxton, and Sarah Paradis, of Auburn; his cherished grandchildren, Owen and Nora Paradis; his siblings, Patricia Paradis, Peter Paradis, and Maria Paradis and her husband Steve Provost of Paxton; along with many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his brother, James Paradis and his wife Dianne of Carpinteria, CA.

Michael was born in Worcester, son of the late Herve J. Paradis and Irene Rita (Chrapowicki) Paradis. He graduated from Sacred Heart Academy, where he excelled on the baseball team. He went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Michael was transferred to the Reserves following his honorably discharged in 1969. He then attended Worcester Junior College, where he received an Associate degree in Business. He worked as a Salesman at The House of Doherty in Worcester, followed by being a Nuisance Inspector for the City of Worcester. Michael retired after twenty years of dedicated service to the City.

He and Paula married on July 28, 1974 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, and settled in Auburn to begin their life together.

In his free time, Michael enjoyed playing and watching sports, and was always catching up with and checking in on his friends. He loved traveling and dining out with his wife and family. He was a very social and friendly person, and made friends easily.

His family would like to acknowledge JHC Hospice for their incredibly care of Michael, and personally thank his nurses, Dina, Gina, and Kim, for their compassion and kindness these past eight months. It will forever be remembered and cherished.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Auburn Little League, P.O. Box 209, Auburn, MA 01501.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Paradis family between 4 – 7 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn.
