Subscription Update Obituary

MaryAnn P. (Boisvert) Powell, 77, of Worcester died on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, in Saint Vincent Hospital.
Mrs. Powell is survived by her husband of 44 years, James F. Powell; five sons, Raymond Wyman and his wife Ellen of Hillsboro, NH, Michael Wyman and his fiancée Verise Bothelo of Gardner, MA, Charles Dean and his wife Gretchen of East Lime, CT, Wayne Wyman and his wife Linda of Worcester, MA and Dean Powell and his wife Dawn of Oxford, MA; two brothers, Richard Boisvert of Manchester, NH and Arthur Boisvert of Worcester, MA; 22 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
MaryAnn was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Goss) Boisvert and is predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters.
She worked for the former Sprague Electric Company, which is now known as Allegro for many years as a quality control inspector. MaryAnn was a member of Saint John’s Church and looked forward to doing the crossword puzzles and the word jumbles in the newspaper everyday.
A funeral will be held on Monday, April 16th from the Alfred Roy Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Saint John’s Church 44 Temple Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Sunday, April 15th from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
