Subscription Update Obituary

    Mary T. (Rivard) Charbonneau, 79, formerly of Worcester died Wed., Sept. 1, 2010 in Jacksonville, FL. Her husband, Orel W. "Ralph" Charbonneau died in 1988.

    She leaves four children, Catherine Hosler of Denver, CO, Dorothy Rigsby of Grafton, Karen Sterling of Green Cove Spring, FL and William Larson of Whitinsville; a step-son, David Charbonneau of Amherst; a step-daughter, Beverly J. Redding of Northbridge; two sisters, Joan A. Cope and Dorothy Gennari both of Arizona; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Edward Rivard, Frank Rivard, Kenneth Rivard and Joseph Rivard and a sister, Shirley A. Bernier predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph F. and Hazel E. (Taylor) Rivard.

    Mary was an x-ray aide for several years at the former Fairlawn Hospital, prior to that she worked at the Blair House and the Providence House in Millbury.

    The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 11 AM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A visiting hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 AM in the funeral home.
