Mary T. (Caricchio) Bicknell, 89, of Holden, died peacefully in the arms of the Lord on Monday, June 18, 2007 in University Commons, Worcester, after a brief illness.
     Her husband of 39 years, David R. Bicknell, died in 1998. She leaves two daughters, Carol M. Auger and her husband Daniel Dunn of Paxton and Linda C. Roy of Worcester; a sister, Virginia I. Caricchio of Dudley; 3 grandchildren, Kevin and Michelle Auger and Francine Bates of Worcester; and 4 great-grandchildren. Six brothers, Frank, Joseph, James, Anthony, John and Ernest Caricchio, and a sister, Evelyn Caricchio, predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of Pasquale and Maria L. (Altieri) Caricchio, and has lived in Holden for the last 40 years. She enjoyed golfing, knitting and her many friends in Holden.
     The funeral service for Mrs. Bicknell will be private in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial donations may be made to the Mercy Centre, 25 West Chester St., Worcester, MA 01605.
