Subscription Update Obituary

Mary R. “Jean” (Favreau) Fusaro, 73, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Rose Monahan Hospice Residence surrounded by her loving family.

Jean is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Ralph C. Fusaro; two sons, Michael Fusaro and Stephen Fusaro and his wife Denleigh Grniet all of Worcester; two daughters, Deborah Fusaro and her husband Thomas Scannell and Pamela Trainor and her husband James, and her daughter-in-law Linda Fusaro all of Worcester; a brother, Paul Favreau of Lakeville, MA; a sister, Christine Lowe of Sterling; five grandsons, Michael A. Fusaro, Stephen Scannell, Geoffrey Scannell, Michael M. Fusaro and Brandon Fusaro; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, John Favreau and a sister, Elaine Petrone.

Jean was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late, Henry H. and Alice (Shaughnessy) Favreau and has lived in Worcester all her life. She was a homemaker whom loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and taking daily trips with her sister. She especially loved watching her grandsons play baseball and was a loyal fan of senior softball which her husband Ralph plays. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A period of calling hours will be held on Friday, September 16th from 10-11:00 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home immediately following visitation.
