Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary Patricia “Patty” (Lambert) Hubbard, 68, of West Boylston, was stricken ill and died Monday, December 30, 2013 at her home.

     She leaves her husband of 42 years, David L. Hubbard; two daughters, Kerri J. Navarro and her husband Richard of Winthrop, and Nancy E. Hubbard and her spouse Tammy Hubbard of West Boylston; six grandchildren, Shahiem Hubbard, Christian Navarro, Thomas Navarro, William Navarro, Joseph Navarro and Nora Hubbard; three sisters, Linda Gleason of Leicester, Deborah Mulhearn of Worcester and Gail Sherman of Warren, and many nieces and nephews.

     Her son David P. Hubbard died in 2001.

     Patty was born in Worcester, daughter of George J. and Gertrude M. (King) Lambert and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. She has lived in West Boylston for more than 35 years.

     Patty worked 28 years for the West Boylston Public Schools, before retiring. Previously, she worked at the Paul Revere Insurance Co. in Worcester.

     Patty was a longtime treasurer of the Pinecroft Water District. She was also Commissioner of the West Boylston Water District.

     Patty was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed every moment that she could spend with her family.

     Calling hours are Friday, January 3, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral will be Saturday, January 4 from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
