Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary Louise (Bullock) Clockedile, 77, died peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Dodge Park Rest Home, Worcester. Mary Lou was born on April 14, 1934, the daughter of Joseph and Julia Bullock and the wife of her loving husband Ronald L. Clockedile, deceased 2006. Mary lived in Leicester for many years before moving to Spencer.

     Mary Lou is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn Ward and her husband John of Leicester, and Debbie Williams and her husband Kenneth of Oakham; two sisters, Sophie Clockedile of Spencer and Nellie Valley of Webster; three grandchildren, Scott Ward and his wife Maureen of Worcester, Jason Ward and his wife Kathy of Worcester, and Carrie Lindberg – John Fantasia of Oakham and David Lindberg of Rutland; eight great-grandchildren, Brandie, T.J., and Chyann Ward all of Worcester, Amber, Brittany, Jacob, and Paige Ward all of Leicester, and Courteney Lindberg of Oakham, who was by her great-gram’s side, taking care of her in her final days.

     She leaves her friends at Astorwood Place in Spencer with whom she shared so many unforgettable days playing cards and cooking for all and also she leaves a very special friend and caregiver Paula Stanley.

     She is predeceased by eight siblings; Helen, Josie, Annie, Julie, Rosie, Jenny, Adam, and Joe.

     Mary Lou was passionate about her role as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She truly loved all of her family and will be dearly missed by all of them.

     The family would like to thank all the staff at Dodge Park Rest Home and Jewish Home Hospice, “You are all truly Angels” – The family will never forget. The family also wishes to extend a special thanks to the Dodge Park Rest Home owners Micha and Ben for their compassion and for making it possible for mom’s final days to be spent with her whole family.

     Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday August 31, 2011 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jewish Home Hospice, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609, or to the Dodge Park Rest Home, Activities Fund, 101 Randolph Rd., Worcester, MA 01606.
