Mary G. (Swearingen) Babbidge, 63, died May 28, 2013 in Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. Her husband, Robert A. Babbidge, died in 2002. She leaves her daughter, Lisa A. Jano and her husband Perry of Worcester; a son, Robert and his wife, Erin (O’Coin) Babbidge of Millbury; 5 grandchildren, Kirsten Young, Haley, Hannah, and Nicholas Jano, and Mya Babbidge; a sister, Nancy Sullivan and her husband John in Easton; a brother, Paul Swearingen of Worcester, and a long time friend, Jack Henry. She was predeceased by her brother Samuel.
     Born in Worcester, daughter of Samuel and Carmela (Bertone) Swearingen, she graduated from Marion High School, and worked for many years as assistant city clerk for the City of Worcester. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and traveling.
     A funeral service will be held Friday May 31 from Caswell-King Funeral Home, 474 Grove St. with a 10 a.m Mass in St. Peter’s Church, 929 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester Co. Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Thursday May 30 from 5-7 p.m in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence.
