Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary F. (Bronzo) Spaulding, 84, formerly of Worcester died peacefully Wednesday September 15, 2010 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd.

     Her husband William W. Spaulding died in 2004. Mary is survived by her sons, William and Kenneth; her daughters, Susan, Barbara and Gail (Spaulding) Slavinskas; her daughters-in-law, Susan Pettis Spaulding and Gail Spaulding; and a son-in-law, Scott Slavinskas. Mary also leaves her grandsons, Jonathan, Patrick and Ryan Spaulding, Jarrod and William Slavinskas; and her granddaughters, Allison Slavinskas and Dawn Conlin; two great grandchildren, Sidney and Aaron; a brother, Robert Bronzo; two sisters, Helen Bronzo and Alice Bronzo O’Donahue; and many nephews and nieces.

     Mary was born in Somerville, Massachusetts daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Boyle) Bronzo and has lived in Worcester for 53 years. She was a graduate of Mt. Saint Joseph Academy and received her Bachelor Degree from Regis College. Mary worked many years alongside her husband in the family business. Mary’s most precious times were those spent with her family, the joy from her love and devotion to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was inspiring. She enjoyed being with all her family and friends and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

     Mary’s funeral will be held Monday, September 20, from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in the Church of Christ the King, 1052 Pleasant St. Calling hours in the funeral home are from 3 PM -6 PM on Sunday. Interment will be with her husband in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA.
