Subscription Update Obituary

Mary F. (Hulett) Holley, 74, of Worcester, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 in the UMass-Memorial Medical Center, after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 53 years, Robert H. Holley; five children, Joanne M. Harrington of Worcester, Judith A. Nagle of Newton, Brenda S. McCormick of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Christine M. Holley of Worcester and Robert H. Holley, Jr. of Cherry Valley; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Janice Hulett of Ball, LA., Alice G. Saffold of Waxhaw Creek, N.C., Nancy Hulett of Williston, VT. and Claire Largesse of Louisville, Colo. She was predeceased by a brother, Peter Hulett.

Mrs. Holley was born in Worcester, daughter of Phyletus M. and Alice F. (Ward) Hulett and lived in Worcester all her life. She was a graduate of St. Peter's High School and worked at Blaire House for many years as a dietary aide.

Mary was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed growing plants and flowers, both in her garden and in her home.

Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, are Friday, Dec. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 30, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John's Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
