Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary Eva (Third) Nelson, 87, of 326 Pleasant St., died Monday, July 23 at UMASS-Memorial, 55 Lake Ave. No., Worcester. She was the wife of Hilding G. Nelson who died in 1976.
    
She leaves four sons,, Robert H. Nelson, Sr. and his wife Louise of Worcester, Garry S. Nelson and his wife Carol of Spencer, Paul A. Nelson of Leicester and James M. Herman Nelson of Leicester; a daughter, Carol A. Langevin and her husband Roland of Millbury; four grandchildren, Robert H. Nelson, Jr., Michael J. and Steven J. Nelson all of Worcester and David P. Nelson of Spencer; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, Robert Third and two sisters, Gretta MacIntosh and Elizabeth Beaman.
    
Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of Alexander and Mary (Calderwood) Third. Mary was a longtime foster mother and was awarded Foster Mother of the Year, by the Worcester Children's Friend Society. She was a member of the Leicester Federated Church.
    
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 10 a.m. in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday, July 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leicester Federated Church, P.O. Box 122, Leicester, Ma. 01524.
