Subscription Update Obituary

   Mary A. (Maiorano) Lundy, 90, of Auburn and a resident at Radius Health Care in Worcester passed away on Monday, Feb. 4 at St. Vincent Hospital.

   Her beloved husband of 25 years Mr. Thomas Lundy died in 1992. Mary is survived by her cherished godchild, Anita Francese; her sister, Rose Bechard and her husband Paul and their cherished daughters, Rose Butman and her husband Charles of Plantation, FL, Paula Ye and her husband Ed of West Brookfield; beloved brother, Gilbert Franco and his wife Anne; brother, Arthur Maiorano of Citrus Springs, FL. Mary is predeceased by a sister, Frances Cogley and two brothers, John Marino of Marlboro and Anthony Maiorano and his surviving wife Rose. Mary leaves many loved nieces, nephews, friends and fond memories of days past.

   Born in Marlboro she also lived in Auburn for many years where she was a long time faithful member of St. Joseph's Church and the Women's Auxiliary. She worked as an LPN at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester and later worked at Allegro before her retirement. Mary was known for her ready smile and her generosity. Mary had a place in her heart for everyone.

   Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 9:30 to 11:30 AM on Friday, Feb. 8 in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester, followed by a funeral Mass at 12 Noon in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
