Mary is survived by her loving family, including two sons, Phillip J. Hunt and his wife Mary of Holden and Kevin M. Hunt and his wife Maurya of Shrewsbury; two daughters, Elizabeth M. French and her husband Timothy of Shrewsbury and Rosanne L. Pierce and her husband David of Berlin, MA; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Mary worked as a baker at Assumption College for many years, before she retired. She was a member of Saint John’s Church and was a volunteer through Shrewsbury Elder Services. She enjoyed needlework, gardening, travel and reading; however, her greatest joy was her family.
The family would like to thank the devoted staff on the Hillside floor of Holy Trinity for their kind and compassionate care of their mother. They would also like to express their gratitude to the Holy Trinity Hospice staff for their assistance and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Saint John’s Food for The Poor in care of the church at 44 Temple Street, Worcester or to Holy Trinity Hospice, 1183 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603.
