Subscription Update Obituary

    Martha H. (Anderson) Bjork, 101, of Auburn passed away Wednesday, June 23 in Oakwood Nursing Center, Webster.

    Her husband of 51 years, Clifford S. Bjork died in 1981. She leaves two children, Paul C. Bjork and his wife Joan of Sutton and Marcia G. Gauvin of Webster; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John August and Alma (Gustafson) Anderson and graduated from Commerce High School.

    Martha was a longtime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and its Dorcas Society and was a former member of the Nereids Swim Group at the YMCA.

    The family would like to thank the entire staff at Oakwood Nursing Center and its Hospice Program for their care and loving kindness towards Martha over the years.

    The Funeral will be held Monday, June 28 at 11 AM in Emanuel Lutheran Church, 200 Greenwood St. Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A Visiting Hour will be held Monday, June 28, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 200 Greenwood St., Worcester, 01607.
