Subscription Update Obituary

Marjorie E. (Gray) Ellsworth, 92, died Friday, February 7th in the Christopher House of Worcester. She was the wife of Dean H. Ellsworth who died in 2016. She leaves 2 sons, David E. Ellsworth and his wife Cynthia of Madison, WI, Russell D. Ellsworth of Rogers, CT., 2 daughters, Betty J. Ellsworth of Spencer, Mary E. Greenberg and her husband Richard of Arlington, TX, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 daughters, Nancy Flynn, Barbara Walker, 2 brothers, James & Robert Gray and a sister, Betty Gray. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Fletcher C. and Ethel (Dickie) Gray. She was a graduate of South High in Worcester.

Marjorie worked for 10 years in Eldercare and drove the elderly to their appointments, she also enjoyed driving for Meals on Wheels. She previously worked as an assistant kindergarten teacher in Auburn. She spent her retirement traveling across the country with her husband Dean in an RV with the United Methodist NOMADS which provided missionary work for the church communities.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 11 at 11 A.M. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME. 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service from 10-11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 791568, Baltimore, MD 21279-1568.
