Subscription Update Obituary

     Marjorie A. (Rice) Sullivan, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 29th. Marjorie’s husband of 55 years, Robert M. Sullivan passed away in 2009. She leaves her daughter, Cathleen A. Kovago and her husband Peter of Boylston; two granddaughters, Kayla A. and Jenna E. Kovago, nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Mark W., Roger J. and Paul V. Rice predeceased her.

Marjorie was born in Worcester the daughter of Mark W. and Cecelia R. (Ennis) Rice. She graduated from St. Peter’s High School and St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing. She later graduated from Anna Maria College with a Masters Degree in Nursing. Marjorie worked as a RN Staff Nurse, Supervisor and Nurse Manager for 45 years at St. Vincent Hospital retiring in 1995. She was secretary for the St. Vincent Alumni Association and for the former St. Andrew the Apostle Church Woman’s Guild.

Marjorie’s Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st at 10:00 am at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no visiting hours. Please omit flowers. Donations in Marjorie’s name may be made to St. Peter’s-St. Andrew’s Parish, 929 Main St., Worcester, MA 01610. Arrangements are in the care of CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St.
