Marion E.R. (Robator) Cournoyer, 96, of Podunk Rd., died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in Radius of Southbridge.
She was the wife of Arthur J. Cournoyer who died in 2001. She leaves her sons, E.Brookfield Police Chief, William J. Cournoyer and his wife LouAnn and Arthur W. Cournoyer and his wife Patricia all of E.Brookfield; her daughters, Linda J. McKeon and her husband James of E.Brookfield and Diana M. Richard and her husband John of Spencer; 11 grand children and several great-grand children, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers George and Joseph “Bill” Robator and sisters Evelyn Tower, Mabel Brown, Pauline Nussey and Esther Harmon.
Marion was a stitcher at the former Brown Shoe Co. in Worcester, retiring in 1978.
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of Joseph W. and Delphine (Marcoux) Robator. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., E.Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are private.
