She also leaves to cherish her memory, one granddaughter, Sonya Leigh McGee of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and one sister, Beatrice (Spring) Ware of Worcester in addition to several nieces and nephews. Her family will remember her as a feisty and quick-witted individual with a generous heart, a great sense of humor, and an even bigger love for God.
She was preceded in death by her parents. “Sip” and Hester Spring, husband Cobert Miller, who passed in August of 1992, three sisters: Lucy Price, Elizabeth Burton, Helen Barrett, and three brothers: Ellis Spring, Eugene Spring, and Richard Spring.

She was known for her accapella rendition of Amazing Grace, which was a blessing to all who heard.
