Subscription Update Obituary

Marion D. (Neiss) Waters, 82, died Sunday, Dec. 24th, in her home.

She was the loving wife and best friend of Edward J. Waters. They celebrated their 60th anniversary this year. She was an industrial nurse at Wyman-Gordon Grafton, retiring in 1986 after 25 years. Her husband was a detective for 34 years for the Worcester Police Dept., and was later a chief deputy in the sheriff's dept.

Born in Worcester, daughter of Al and Ruth (Locke) Neiss, graduated from Classical High School, the Army Cadet Nursing Corp., and City Hospital School of Nursing.

She leaves her loving family, including, Susan and Richard Albani, Scott and Megan Albani, Sheila Muscott, Sharon Waters, Edward and Joan (Gautreau) Waters, Jessica and Eric Rubinow, Deven and Scott Mespelli, and Jason Gautreau, Robin and Jack McPartland, and Ryan McPartland, Brian and Diane Waters, Kasey and Woody Waters. A grandson, Sean Edward McPartland predeceased her this year.

She was an avid golfer, and wintered with her husband in Florida for many years.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am. Thursday Dec. 28 in CASWELL-KING FUNERAL HOME, 474 Grove St. Burial will be in Worcester Co. Memorial Park. Calling hours in the funeral home will be from 5-8 pm., Wednesday, Dec. 27th. Donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852-9813.
