Subscription Update Obituary

     Mrs.Marion A. (Lucier) Dighton, 91,a resident of Radius Healthcare Center of Southbridge, and formerly of Heritage Green Dr. died Sunday, Sept. 26th, at Harrington Memorial Hospital.
Her husband was the late William R. Dighton, Sr., who died in 1987.
     She is survived by her son William “Bill” R. Dighton, Jr and his wife Cynthia of Charlton, 4 grandchildren Burleigh Dighton of Rome, GA, Cheryl Dighton-Evans of Dunbar, W.VA, Bobby Dighton of Sturbridge, and Darrin Dighton of Langley, British Columbia, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters Lorraine M. Waterhouse of Dudley, and Rosanna C. Desrosier of Worcester. She was predeceased by her brothers Alfred J. Lucier, Raymond G. Lucier, Joseph A. Lucier, Adelard J. Lucier and her sisters Marie Eva Alarie-Trottier, and Amelia Tirella,
     She was born in Worcester, one of 9 children born to Joseph A.Lucier, Sr. and Ezilda (Vanasse) Lucier and lived many years in Grafton before moving to Sturbridge. Mrs. Dighton loved her family and had enjoyed helping care for her grandchildren.
     Funeral services for Mrs. Dighton will be Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, from Sansoucy Funeral Home 40 Marcy St. Southbridge with a Mass at 10AM at St. Joseph’s Church H. Putnam Rd. Ext. Charlton. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park Richards Avenue Paxton, MA. Calling hours will be Thursday, Sept. 30th, from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
