Marilyn L. (Aiken) Gordon, 80, died unexpectedly in her home on Friday, May 20, 2011. Her husband of 35 years, Donald F. Gordon died in 1986.

She leaves her daughter, Nancy L. Gordon with whom she lived; Gary D. Gordon and his wife Deborah of Auburn; two granddaughters, Tara and Dawn Gordon both of Auburn; several nephews and nieces. Two brothers, William and Richard Aiken, predeceased her. Marilyn was born in Worcester, the daughter of Aiden A. and Louise (Stewart) Aiken and lived most of her life in Holden.

Marilyn graduated from Holden High School and later worked at Brentwood Pharmacy, Marshal Drug Store, and CVS all in Holden. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, and spending time with her granddaughters.

Honoring Marilyn’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
