Subscription Update Obituary

   Marie A. (Moynihan) Liljestrand, 78, of 9 Bel Arbor Drive, Paxton, died at home on Friday, April 18, 2008.

   She leaves her son, Walter E. Liljestrand, Jr. of Northboro; three daughters, Janice M. Liljestrand of Paxton, Margaret A. Dyer and her husband Stephen of Maynard and Maryann Roszkiewicz and her husband Kevin of Rutland; four beloved grandchildren, Jason and Justin Roszkiewicz and Brenden and Patrick Dyer. Two brothers, Arthur and John Moynihan and a sister, Kathleen Moynihan Brown, predeceased her.

   Marie was born in Worcester, daughter of Manus and Mary (McMahon) Moynihan, and lived 50 years in Northborough, later in Maynard and Paxton. She was a graduate of North High School and Becker College both in Worcester and was a former member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Northborough. She loved being Irish, was an avid Red Sox fan and adored her grandchildren.

   The funeral Mass for Marie will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 21st, in St. Patrick’s Church, 290 Main St., Rutland. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden is directing arrangements.
