Subscription Update Obituary

   Margot S. "Mickey" Ide, 87, of Masonic Home Road and formerly of Southbridge, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton.

   She is survived by a daughter, Penny T. Leone and her husband, Jerry of Hopedale; three grandchildren, Krista Fullum, Melissa Leone, and Justin Leone; and her close cousins, Dorie Soderman and Phyllis Erickson, both of Paxton. She was predeceased by two daughters, Karen Ide and Vicky Ide, both of Spencer; and her former husband, David M. Ide who died in 1999. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Gustav and Karen E. (Flodin) Hedlund. Mrs. Ide was a secretary at the Department of Transitional Assistance in Southbridge for 15 years, retiring in 1985.

   A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2008, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008, from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
