Subscription Update Obituary

     Margaret (Brown) Vaudreuil, 87, a resident of Auburn for more than 50 years, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
     She was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Vaudreuil in 1981.
     She leaves her two children, Carolyn J. Prunier and her husband Edward of Thompson, CT and David L. Vaudreuil and his wife Lesa of Spencer; her step daughter, Dianne M Burton of New Hampshire; her step son, Christopher R. Vaudreuil of Hubbardston; a grandson, Christopher Vaudreuil, Jr. of Hubbardston.
     Margaret was born in Northamptonshire, England, daughter of the late Leonard W.J. and Kathleen M. (Hill) Brown and moved to the United States in 1950. During World War II, Margaret proudly served her country as a member of the Royal Observer Corps. She worked for many years at the Shaw’s Supermarket and its predecessor, Iandolli’s Market. She was a longtime member of the Saint Thomas Episcopal Church in Auburn and served on the Altar Guild for many years.
     Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service honoring and celebrating Margaret’s life on Monday, April 15th at 10:30 Am in the Saint Thomas Episcopal Church. 35 School Street, Auburn. Burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be private. There are no visiting hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital (stjude.org), 262 Danny Thomas Pl Memphis, TN 38105. The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home of Auburn is assisting the family with the arrangements.
