Margaret M. (Moors) Premo, 70, of Worcester, died Thursday, March 22, 2012 in UMass Memorial Medical Center after an illness.
She leaves her daughters, Judith Regan of Auburn, Arlene McGoldrick of Paxton; a grandson, Jeffrey N. Hoyle with whom she lived; a sister, Patricia Hammond of N. Oxford; a brother, Albert Moors, Jr. of Radcliffe, KY, and a sister, Virginia Moniak of Amelia, OH; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was born in Worcester; she was the daughter of Albert and Margaret (Harney) Moors. Margaret was educated in Auburn schools, and later graduated from Clark University. She worked as an LPN for several area nursing homes; she also worked as a private-duty nurse.
Her grandchildren were her world. She cherished the time spent with them. In her spare time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing bingo and enjoying the companionship of her dog Squiget. She was a member of the Auburn Elks Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to a calling hour from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM Saturday, March 24, 2012 in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. Her funeral service will follow at 1PM in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
