Subscription Update Obituary

Margaret J. Nichols, 83, of Charlton, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday evening, June 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late George N. Nichols, Sr.

Margaret worked for many years as an assembler at Custom Kits and was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

She enjoyed playing cards, camping, and visiting local casinos, as well as horse and dog tracks. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family, which brought her the greatest joy.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Aubin of Charlton, Penny Tenney of Worcester, Wanda Lambert of Southbridge, Margaret Ulis of California and Georgeanna LeClaire of Worcester; her brother, Paul Robertson of Spencer; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, George N. Nichols, Jr., and a great-granddaughter.

Margaret will be remembered for her warmth, her vibrant spirit, and the deep love she had for her family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service for Margaret on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton, MA 01612.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School St., Webster, MA 01507.
