Margaret F. "Marge" Roy, 73, passed away Thursday, April 19th, surrounded by her family.

She leaves a loving daughter, Michele of Shrewsbury, and her sister, Mary Chase of Danielson, CT. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard "Joe" Roy of Worcester. She was born in Wauregan, CT, a daughter of Eleanor (Egan) and Chester Caouette.

Marge was a sales associate at Putnam's Hallmark in Shrewsbury for 12 years until retiring a few years ago. She was a member of the Shrewsbury Music Association and also belonged to St. Anne's Church in Shrewsbury. Marge will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by all that knew and loved her. She was one to always reach out to people by sending cards, making gifts and always recognizing special occasions.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, April 23rd from 5-8 PM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday from the funeral home with a Mass celebrated at 10 AM in Saint Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
