Subscription Update Obituary

Margaret E. (Doyle) Davies, 88, formerly of Florence St., died Thursday, Oct 26, in Holy Trinity Nursing Center.

Her husband of 47 years, Harry J. Davies died in 1998. She leaves a son, Thomas M. Davies of Sturbridge; a daughter, Susan M. Kennis of Worcester; two sisters, Frances M. Doyle and Veronica Fontaine both of Worcester; three grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Thomas and Bridget (Keegan) Doyle and graduated from Commerce High School. She was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII.

Margaret worked for the Belmont Home for many years, before retiring. She was a member of St. Peter's Church.

The funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 30, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 AM in St Peter's Church, 931 Main St. Burial with Military Honors will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours are Sunday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 4 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, the Employee Holiday Fund at Holy Trinity Nursing Center, 300 Barber Ave., Worcester, 01606 or to St Peter's Church, 931 Main St., Worcester, 01610.
