Subscription Update Obituary

     Madeleine J. (Belisle) Grimley, 93, formerly of Worcester, Paxton, Spencer MA, and Rutland VT, passed away Friday, September 20th 2013 at the Mountain View Center, Rutland, VT. Her husband, Ernest F. “Red” Grimley, died in 1998. She leaves a daughter Patricia Williams, her husband Dennis Donahue of Hyannis MA, two sons, Robert P Grimley of Greenville, SC; and Richard E. Grimley and his wife Kathleen of Rutland VT; a sister, Constance Papale of Hampton, NH; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
     She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Ferdinand and Emma (Gaucher) Belisle and graduated from Salter Secretarial School. Mrs. Grimley was the assistant to the controller at Fletcher, Tilton, & Whipple and a secretary and bookkeeper at R.C. Taylor Trust for several years, before retiring. She was a member of the Worcester Chapter of the AARP.
     Calling hours will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 27th, followed immediately by a funeral service in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester MA. She will then be laid to rest with her husband in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton MA. A reception will follow immediately at O’Connor’s Restaurant, 1160 West Boylston St, Worcester, MA.
