Subscription Update Obituary

   Madeleine A. (Beford) Beliveau, 80, of Autumn Village, Worcester, died Monday, May 19, 2008 on her wedding anniversary.

   She was the loving wife of Hervé R. Beliveau for 45 years, who died in 1996. She leaves her daughters, Denise C. Case of Worcester and Elaine M. Bovenzi of Southbridge; her son, Ronald E. Beliveau and his wife Tammy of Worcester. She also leaves her 11 adored grandchildren: Lee-ann, Jefferson, Robert, Stephanie, Paul, Kimberly, James, Elysha, Mary, Vanessa, and Kyle; and her 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers, Gerard and Louis Beford, and two sisters, Cecile Mongeau and Claire Marsan. She enjoyed visits from Mark Beford, Joseph Marsan, Marie Cannon, Cecile Beford, and Sister Yvette Beford.

   Madeleine was born in Worcester, daughter of Louis J. and Marie A. (Hamel) Beford. She worked many years at L. Farber Leather Co. in Worcester. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish and its Children of Mary group. She graduated from Holy Name of Jesus High School. She was an avid Red Sox fan.

   A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 51 Illinois St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Autumn Village, 25 Oriol Dr., Worcester, MA 01605. RICE FUNERAL HOME, 300 Park Ave., is directing arrangements.
