Lucille M. (LeBel) Plouffe, 71, of 1060 Main Street, died Wednesday, February 27th in her home, after a short battle with cancer.

   She leaves five sons, Raymond A., Ronald J., Alfred G., Jr., Charles A. and George H. Plouffe; a daughter, Karen M. Plouffe, all of Worcester; two sisters, Alicia Gill of Florida and Jacqueline Derosiers of Texas; fifteen grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Emilien and Clarina (LeMay) LeBel. Ms. Plouffe was a graduate of the former High School of Commerce. She was employed by the former Sawyer Lumber Company and had once managed the B&D Store.

   Calling hours are Saturday, March 1st from 1:00 until 3:00 PM with a service at 2:40 PM in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
