Lucille E. (Pare) Shepard, 90, of 485 Grove St., died Tuesday July 1 in St. Vincent Hospital.

   Her husband of 20 years, Ronald C. Shepard, died in 1998. She leaves her son, Joseph M. Howard of Millbury, and his children, Michael, Joseph, Marie, James, Wendy, and William; a daughter, Patricia A. Desto, and her husband, Joseph, and their children, Deborah, Deanna, and Gregg; a step-daughter, Carol Frohock and her husband John, and their children, Susan, Ronald, Kenneth, Sharon, and James; 26 great grandchildren, and 1 gt. gt. grandchild.

   Born in Worcester, daughter of Arthur and Alice (Barrier) Pare, she graduated from Commerce High School, and worked for 25 years at State Mutual of America.

   A funeral service will be held Monday July 7 from CASWELL-KING FUNERAL HOME, 474 Grove St. with a 10 a.m Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial will be in Worcester Co. Memorial Park. Calling hours in the funeral home will preceed the funeral from 8:30-10 a.m.

   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester.
