Subscription Update Obituary

     Lourdes A. (Larkin) Allard, 75, of Worcester died peacefully at home on Monday, March 10th after a courageous battle with cancer. She two sons, Mark of Shrewsbury and Joseph of Worcester; two daughters, Ann of Florida and Linda of Worcester; two sisters, Phyllis of Dover and Linda of San Francisco, CA; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Stephen and a brother, Paul.

     She was born in Worcester the daughter of Robert O. and Mildred (Adams) Larkin graduated from the former High School of Commerce. She was a devout catholic and spent many years raising her children and grandchildren. She also liked playing bingo and heading down to the casino every now and then. She lived most of her life in the Worcester area and spent several years living in Vero Beach, FL before moving back to Worcester permanently in 2005.

     Her funeral is Friday, March 14th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, March 13th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
