Subscription Update Obituary

     Louise W. (Carter) Jacobson 97, formerly of 330 Stafford St, in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died peacefully, Monday, June 2 at The Meadows of Leicester.

     She was the wife of Ingvar B. Jacobson who died in 1965. She leaves her daughter Norma J. Jason of Hubbardston, two grandchildren William and Kevin Jason both of Leicester, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers and two sisters and her son in law Robert Jason in 2011.

     Louise was a longtime sales clerk for the former Bradley’s in Shrewsbury before retiring in 1978. Previously she worked at the former Eddy’s on Park Ave. in Worcester.

     Born in Barre, she was the daughter of Marshall and Martha (Wells) Carter and later graduated from Commerce High in Worcester. She was a member of the Leicester Women’s Club and the Senior Citizen Club of Leicester. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed line dancing, playing bingo and working in her yard. She loved spending time with her family.

     Private funeral services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
