Subscription Update Obituary

     Louise S. (Vancelette) Doe, 90, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in St. Vincent Hospital. She is predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Donald R. Doe in 1971. She leaves two sons, Donald Doe Jr. & his wife Karen and William Doe & his wife Deborah all of North Brookfield; a daughter, Karolyn Millette & her husband Peter of VT; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Cunningham.
     Louise was born in Worcester, MA the daughter of the late Napoleon & Effie (McGlauflin) Vancelette and has lived most of her life in Leicester. She was a graduate of Leicester High School and the Memorial School of Nursing in Worcester. Louise was a registered nurse for many years until she retired. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Leicester where she was a teacher and superintendent for its sunday school.
     The family extends a special thank you to her nieces Arlene Tatro & Alane Anderson for the love and care they provided Louise.
     A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11 a.m in the First Congregational Church, 1 Washburn Sq., Leicester, MA. Burial will be private for the family. Donations may be made in her name to the First Congregational Church, 1 Washburn Sq., Leicester, MA 01524. Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert St., N. Brookfield is directing arrangements.
