Subscription Update Obituary

     Louise E. (Menard) Dion 85, formerly of 115 Mechanic St., died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 in the Jewish Heath Care Center in Worcester after a long illness.
     She was the wife of Conrad J. Dion who died in 1999. She leaves two sons, Alan C. Dion and his wife Diane of E.Brookfield, and Mark D. Dion and his wife Kim of Hooksett, N.H.; her daughter, Deborah C. Bledsoe and her husband Stephen of Spencer; a brother, Albert Menard and his wife Amy of Worcester; 5 grandchildren: Christopher, Scott, Melanie, Cory and Angela, as well as 10 great grand children, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her two sisters, Rita Allen and Claire Menard and brother, Oscar Menard all of Spencer.
     Louise was a clerk at Marane Oil in Worcester for several years, retiring in 1983. Previously she worked at Aetna Life Insurance Co. Many years ago, along with her husband she owned and operated “Rest Haven Manor” on Lincoln St. in Spencer for 15 years.
     She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish and the St. Anne’s Sodality at St. Mary’s Church.
     Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Oscar and Clara (Gendreau) Menard. She graduated from David Prouty High School.
     The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Jewish Health Care Center for the compassionate care of Louise.
     The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. prior to the funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Memorial Fund, 60 Maple St., Spencer, Ma. 01562.
