Louise D. (Sowle) Philblade, 95, passed away peacefully with family by her side Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the Hermitage Nursing Home. Her husband of 66 years, Raymond M. Philblade, died in 2003. She was born in Boston, daughter of Margaret (Schmale) and Joseph Sowle. She leaves one son, Raymond J. Philblade and his wife Frances of Holden; two grandchildren, Karyn M. Philblade of Worcester and John E. Philblade and his wife Yeong of Sturbridge; and one great-granddaughter, Keira.
 
     Funeral services will be held Friday, February 25, 2011, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. A calling hour will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, will be at the convenience of the family. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Hermitage Nursing Home for all their many years of care and compassion.
