Lorraine R. (St.Martin) Huard, 77, of 5 Bemis St., died Monday, December 19, 2011 at the Meadows of Leicester, following a brief illness.

She leaves six sons; Roland A. Huard and his wife Pamela of Spencer, Eli A. Huard and his wife Holly of Hardwick, Rene G. Huard and his wife Carla of Barre, Leo R. Huard and his wife Alice of Spencer, Donald R. Huard and his wife Tara of East Brookfield, and John P. Huard and his wife Molly of Spencer, a daughter, Suzanne A. Pervier and her husband James of Spencer, a brother, Gerard St. Martin and his wife Lorraine of Spencer, her former husband Albert E. Huard of Spencer, 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Therese St. Martin and a grandson, Lucas Huard.

Born in Southbridge, she was the daughter of Arsene & Yvonne (Auger) St. Martin.

Lorraine was a dietary aide for 10 years at Clark Manor Nursing Home in Worcester, retiring in 1992. She previously worked at Brookfield Athletic Shoe in East Brookfield for several years.

She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish. She enjoyed watching baseball and golf, playing BINGO, family gatherings and her lunch group at McDonalds.

The funeral will be held Thursday, December 22 from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7 in the funeral home.
