   Loretta V. (Laroche) Muzzrall, 80, of 56 Jolicoeur Ave., died Wednesday, April 2 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a brief illness.

   She leaves her husband of 62 years, Louis J. "Pete" Muzzrall, Jr.; two daughters: Susan L. Lacaire and her husband Donald of Spencer, and Lissa J. and her husband Peter Mooradd, Jr. of So. Hadley; a brother, Albert Laroche, Jr. of Spencer and a sister, Dorothy Pelchat and her husband George of Spencer; three grandchildren: Corey Lacaire and his wife Shelley of Spencer, Justine and her husband Ronald Barnes, Jr. of E. Brookfield and Lucas Lacaire and his wife Megan of Spencer; five great-grandchildren: Casey, Nolan, Alexis, Kane and Colton. She is predeceased by a sister, Jeannette Venne.

   Mrs. Muzrall was cafeteria director in charge of food services for the Spencer/E. Brookfield School System for many years, before retiring in 1987. She graduated from St. Mary's Parochial School and David Prouty High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church and was a volunteer for the Martha-Mary Guild. She was a longtime election clerk for the 4th. Precinct at Spencer Town elections. She was an avid golfer who recorded a "hole-in-one" at Wentworth by the Sea in Portsmouth, N.H.

   Loretta and her husband celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends in 2006. She loved to cook, flower gardening, travel and trips to the casino.

   Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Albert and Parmelia (Dupre) Laroche, Sr.

   The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 5 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Calling hours are Friday, April 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
