Subscription Update Obituary

    Loretta C. (O'Brien) Auger, 86 of Worcester died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in St. Francis Home in Worcester. Her husband Ernest A. Auger died in 2003.

    She leaves her children: Judith V. Plotorak and her husband James of Worcester, William W. Auger and his wife Cheryl of Oxford, Robert E. Auger of New Jersey, and David E. Auger and his wife Chris of Spencer, Donna M. Peabody and her husband David of Barre; 11 adoring grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, Robert O'Brien of CT, and James O'Brien of West Boylston, and a sister, Eileen Casey of Spencer. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Edward and John O'Brien and a sister, Claire O'Brien.

    She was born in Worcester; she is the daughter of the late William and Etta (Davis) O'Brien. She was educated in Worcester schools.

    Mrs. Auger worked as an LPN at St. Vincent's Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of Ascension Church in Worcester. Mrs. Auger enjoyed reading and watching the Red Sox and Patriots and spending time with her loving family.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday April 11, 2010 from 4-6 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. Auburn. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home with a Mass celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, April 12, 2010 in St. John's Church 44 Temple St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
