Subscription Update Obituary

    Lois A. (Parrott) Gallagher, 83, died Monday, November 23, 2009 in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

    She was predeceased by her husband, John F. Gallagher Jr. in 1985. She leaves a son, John F. Gallagher III & his wife Donna of Barre; three daughters: Judith A. Kozak & her husband Matthew of Rutland, Theresa J. Merolla & her husband Anthony and Kathleen L. Gallagher, all of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; nephews & nieces. Lois was born in Aberdeen, SD, the daughter of Jacob L & Ada J. (Brattsberg) Parrott and lived in Worcester for many years before moving to Barre. She worked as a book keeper for various companies until she retired.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009 from 4:00-6:00PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 S. Barre Rd., Barre. The funeral for Lois will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
