Subscription Update Obituary

     Linda M. Noel / McNeil, 57, of Charlton, was called home by the Lord on Monday, September 29, 2014 after complications with Scleroderma.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of late Raymond J. and Esther M. (Staples) Noel. She leaves her husband of 20 years William J. McNeil; one sister, Cheryl A. Noel, of Worcester; her two daughters, Aimee M. Powlowski of Worcester, and Wendy L. Lashua and her husband Donald of Grafton; two sons, Barrett McNeil and Connor McNeil both of Dallas Texas; a niece Kendera Mazzuchelli and her husband Paul of Worcester, three grandchildren Jon Rumery, Bryant Powlowski, and Brooke Lashua.

Linda attended Marion High School in Worcester and graduated from Doherty Memorial High in 1976. She attended Springfield College. She worked for U Mass Memorial Hospital before becoming seriously ill in 2005.

She surrounded herself with family and friends. She spent most of her life helping others. Her house was always filled with children, laughter and lots of food.

She was a longtime friend of Bill W.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday October 5th, from 3-5 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street in Auburn. Her funeral will be held Monday October 6th at 10 AM in the First Congregational Church of Auburn, 128 Central Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County memorial Park in Paxton.
