Subscription Update Obituary

     Lillian L. (Lessard) Carpenter, 78, of West Boylston, passed away peacefully Monday, July 30th in her home surrounded by her family.
    
Lillian's husband, Alfred J. Carpenter, Jr. passed away in 1980. She is survived by her five devoted children, Deborah Carpenter with whom she lived, Donna Carpenter of Shrewsbury, Denise DeMauro and her husband Dino, Dori Carpenter, and Douglas J. Carpenter all of Worcester; three sisters, Patricia Lund and Carmelita Mansfield both in Florida, Marion Belanger in New Hampshire; three brothers, Adrian Lessard of Spencer, Albert Lessard in Rhode Island, and William Lessard in Florida; ten cherished grandchildren; five adored great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Henry and Ernest Lessard and her parents Leo and Mildred (Blow) Lessard all predeceased her. She was born in Worcester and lived in Worcester before moving to West Boylston three years ago.
    
Lillian worked as an assembler for Sprague Electric before retiring. She previously worked for G.E. Telecron.
    
Lillian's funeral will be held Friday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church, 75 Alvarado Ave. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 2nd in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS foundation, Massachusetts Chapter, 75 McNeil Way, Suite 310, Dedham, MA 02026.
